PAIA Manual
1. Introduction
PAIA gives people the right to request access to records held by private bodies where the record is required for the exercise or protection of a right. This manual explains how to make such a request to Sequence Industries.
2. Contact details
Requests under this manual may be directed to: hello@snapcash.money.
3. The section 10 guide
The Information Regulator has published a guide on how to use PAIA. It is available from the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za and from its offices.
4. Records we hold
- Company records: statutory, governance and financial records.
- Customer records: credit applications, credit agreements, affordability assessments, POPIA consent records, transaction and collection records (retained as required by the National Credit Act).
- Operational records: supplier agreements, technology and security records, correspondence.
- Personnel records: employment-related records, where applicable.
5. Records automatically available
The content of this website — including product terms, pricing, this manual and our privacy policy — is available without a PAIA request.
6. How to request a record
- Complete the prescribed request form (Form 2 of the PAIA Regulations, available from the Information Regulator).
- Submit it to our Information Officer with proof of identity, a description of the record, and the right you seek to exercise or protect.
- Pay the prescribed request fee where applicable. We respond within 30 days as PAIA requires, subject to the extensions and grounds of refusal set out in the Act (including protection of third-party privacy).
7. Remedies
If a request is refused, the requester may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or apply to court, as provided for in PAIA.
